Cam and Finn grew up together in Port Macquarie, NSW, before setting off at the beginning of 2023 on a lap of Australia in two old vans. It was during that trip, after countless hours on the road, that the idea of starting a band first came to life.

Halfway around Australia, Cam settled in Exmouth, WA, for a season of work, while Finn returned to the East Coast and made Coolangatta, QLD, home. After a year apart, Cam made his way back to the Gold Coast, where the pair decided to turn that idea into reality, officially forming FIN KEY at the beginning of 2025 and getting to work writing their first songs.

This is where they met Logan through a mutual friend, and Kiz while working a part-time bar job. It didn’t take long to realise they shared the same passion, and before long, the lineup was complete.

FIN KEY released their debut single, “DAYS,” on 15 November 2025. Just two weeks later, they played their first full-band show, and the momentum only continued to build. Their first ticketed headline show followed in December at the Coolangatta Hotel, marking an exciting start to the band’s journey.

With plenty of ambition and a love for the open road, the boys built a fleet of four-wheel drives and set off in March 2026 on their East to West Tour, spending six weeks travelling across Australia, playing shows, meeting new people, and creating unforgettable memories.

Today, the band is based in Exmouth, WA, where they’re continuing to grow their fanbase, write new music, and prepare for another run back across the country, with plans to return to the East Coast later this year.
